Betsy Anne Thomas, Nurse Practitioner


Anne “Betsy” Thomas, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, Nurse Practitioner was raised in the Kansas City area. In 2005, she received her Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas. She worked in advertising and public relations before realizing she felt called to nursing. In 2010, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Luke’s College of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked as a registered nurse for 4 years in pre-post-surgery, surgery and pulmonary and critical care. She then decided to advance her nursing degree and in 2015, received her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University, in Independence, Missouri. She is Board Certified in family medicine by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Throughout her nurse practitioner career, she has experience in family medicine, urgent care, ENT & orthopedics. Betsy is married with one child. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family, friends, boating and camping on the local lakes and traveling. She is also a certified storm spotter for the Kansas City National Weather Service. She is very passionate about treating the orthopedic patient. She has extensive surgical experience and has attended specific orthopedic training. She is working toward her First Assist certification in surgery. She is looking forward to providing your care!
