Kara Hecker, CCMA

Kara Hecker is a full-time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant who works with the clinic staff in the back office of Greiner Orthopedics. She is here to help the providers with scheduling surgeries, doing referrals, direct patient care, among other duties. Kara knows, believes, and understands the importance of patient care, patient communication and patient satisfaction, as these are some of the fundamentals of orthopedics and healthcare overall. Kara was inspired by the medical field and nursing years ago growing up with a family full of medical professionals. Kara holds a medical assistance certification and is actively continuing her education of bachelor’s degree in nursing. Kara has worked with Greiner Orthopedics over the last 5 years. Kara has experience not only in Orthopedics, but Urgent Care and Family Practice as well. When Kara is not in the office caring for her patients, you may find her spending time with her handsome son Braxton. Braxton is a cowboy at heart, and you might find the two of them at the rodeo, derby, or playing one of his many sports. Kara is excited about her future with Greiner Orthopedics and growing with our team!
